| this is nothing new. with the world's eyes on India, everyone is talking about the fastest (or second) growing nation in the world, and our booming economy. every article I read talks about India's economy growing at about 8-10% per year. is economic growth all that matters? While we may be progressing on one front, we are actually regressing on 10 other fronts at the same time. why is there an over-emphasis on our economic growth? what use is it if the net result of that growth goes into the hands of a select few? Is it helping when you look at the big picture? |
