I really dont think you need an upgrade, unless your really into the games with high-grade graphics. As for me i dont think ill need an upgrade for quite a while. |

^^ nice setup there. imho, i would rather get more RAM than a faster processor, makes a hell of a difference.

I dont think you need a RAM upgrade, unless you're doing some hardcore gaming or video editing.
So does the 2500 mean you have a 2.5GHz processor ? I dont know anything about AMDs. |

I am into photography and most of the time need to work with photoshop which really consumes ram. In any case it never hurts to have more RAM , btw the specs of my comp have changed a little since the last post. My HDD crashed and I had to buy another 80gb HDD from segate and I also brought a DVD writer along with it |

Tough luck, I hope you had a backup of your HDD.
I'm planning to get a DVD writer soon too, probably LG or Pioneer. Which one did you get? |

Main loss has been the photos that I had clicked over the past couple of years, out of the 14gb+ photos that I had on my hdd I only had backup of 2-3gb so the loss has been a significant one. However learned from my mistake and I have started taking regular backups on DVD's now.
as for the DVD writer well the best one come from Liteon, rest is good but liteon drives are the best. |
