| Do you think remaking old movies is a good idea? recently a lots of old movies have been remade in bollywood. Don, Umrao Jaan etc. is this a good idea or bad? |

| After watching Don, I'd say no. You usually dont mess with legendary movies. The stupidest move so far is remaking Sholay - Why would you even try ? |

| butchering old songs wasnt enough (ala remixes) now they have to try their hand at movies. |

i liked don!!
and btw umrao jaan is not a Remake!!..(and umrao jaan was a good movie)
its the directors vision -frm the boook!
anywaz. i think remakes are good..its good to see differnces-
are we better ? or getting worse? (in terms of moving making)
+ i think they are all running out of ideas...
andddd ..its a great challenge to do a remake...so give them some credit for trying  |
