OMG
wat the hell did Raymond Dominigue do to the French team. How in the world did they play like that? How did they defeat Brazil . France, team which dint win a single match last year, defeats world Champions Brazil, Brazil who hasn't lost a single match since the last world cup till this one. |

K this has got to be the most unexpected thing to have happened in this world cup.(other than France beating Brazil). Since the start it was like damn neck and neck, which was partially because Germany seemed very nervous. They have some sort of record that they've never won against Italy, I guess that was sorta on their head the whole time.
And besides that, the teams had two of the best goalkeepers in the game Laehman[dunno if i spelt it rite] and Buffon.
Italy's excessive offsides and unecessary defensive behaviour didnt really tilt the scales in their favour until the second half of the extra time when minutes before penalties
Grosso does this AMAZING kick across the entire length of the goalpost straight into the net. MAJOR SHOCK!!!
After that it was pretty obvious that Italy was gonna win so Del Piedo's goal was more like a finsihing touch. Anywayz, good job Germany for playin so well this far, includin this match which was damn fun to watch.
Now the only thing that could get me anymore surprised is if Ghana somehow come back through some loophole in the rules and win the cup..lol.. |

Hey guyz.... if ur wonderin y i din post abt the final yet, then well thts cuz ive been in india all this while. I was lucky to even get to see the match..
newayz now tht ive found a PC wid a connection I gotta tell you, this match i was totally wid the French from the start. Definitely not one of their best gmes but a pretty memorable one, thanks to Zidane the unbeatable.( and i dun mean tht in a sarcastic sort of way)
I seriously think he was the best player the cup and TOTALLY deserved the golden ball. The head butt although very unprofessional, was somethin Materazzi was askin for , and i actually dun think he din nethin wrong. CUZ HE ZIDANE FOR GOD's SAKE. how can he do wrong.
You go ZIdane!! THree CHEERs for an AMAZIN CAReer and I REALLY REALY hope you dont retire cuz nobody moves the ball like you do..
And about Italy winnin well the good guyz dun alwayz win, and it was nice to see France back in the game. I was never a supporter of FRance as you guyz mite have observed in my previous posts , but this world cup totally changed my mind. |

I couldnt agree more with you. A well-deserved title. And thank god that C. Ronaldo didnt win the best young player award. |

woah, thats a lot of views.
I know the world cup is over and all, but there is one thing which i believe is most important about the world cup and something which i havent mentioned before, it's the way it brings the whole world together. And i know this because ive seen it here in saudi arabia as well [which is saying something]. Its like football is one game which the whole world watches, one game where it doesnt matter where your from you'll be dancing in front of the screen once ur favourite team scores. |
