Zidane has been named the Man of the Tournament; the recipient of the Golden Ball award.
The final marked his retirement from world football, but it wasnt an exit you would expect from the best player of his generation. He was sent off with a red card after attacking Italian player Matarazzi, who supposedly insulted his family.
